The Paramount team are incredibly proud of the communities that we are a part of and it has become increasing important for us to feel that we are making positive contributions. So back in 2019 we launched our Fundraising Forms which serves not only for community groups, charities, schools etc to request monetary donations, but to also request our time to assist in any activities that they may be organising.
So far this year we have been involved in some incredible projects:
Realise HR Forest
In 2022 Realise HR launched an initiative for local business to join together to mitigate our carbon emissions and they started The Realise Forest. As 2022 was our 15th birthday we donated 15 trees and in February of this year Karen and Karl joined the other companies that donated trees and had a tree planting day. Over 60 trees in total were planted and we are looking forward to continuing with this fabulous mission by donating a tree for every new Client we have throughout 2023.
Women Up
Early in 2023 we received a Fundraising Form from Woman Up requesting a donation of £200.00, which would be used to pay for a speaker for their Woman Up Justice event which was in March and was bringing together a wide range of female voices involved in the justice system.
Woman Up began in 2014 and is an events organisation focusing on equality, women’s rights and empowerment of minority groups. If you would like to find out more about them please click here.
Book Fundraiser
On World Book Day back in March we launched our first book fundraiser. We are working with Belle Vue Primary School in Carlisle this year. When we got in touch with them we found out that the timing couldn’t have been more perfect as they are in the middle of renovating their library and are looking to develop a specific mental health and wellbeing section. We are hoping to donate 50 books to Belle Vue by the end of June, we are currently at 20 books. If you would like to support us the Amazon wish list is here.
We have several other projects that we are supporting involving cricket, netball and the wonderful charity, People First as well as many more projects with schools, so we look forward to giving you another update with details of those in the coming months.
