Costs Draftsman’s Fees and Short Form Bills
Costs draftsman’s fees – Apart from in exceptional circumstances, a Grade D fee earner rate will be allowed for drafting Bills of costs. The costs of preparing excessively long schedules that replicate the file notes are likely to be disallowed. The Short Form Bill must be used for costs claimed of under £3,000 (excluding VAT and disbursements).
